Cooling Fan

The cooling fan was modified to reduce aerodynamic noise from the single-impeller fan while meeting the required airflow demands.

Solution

In response to the customer’s needs, the blade geometry was re-modeled in 3D. Through iterative aerodynamic optimization, the optimal fan blade shape was identified. This ensured the aerodynamic performance requirements were met while successfully reducing aerodynamic noise.
