•In Design Mode, TurboTides applies a wide range of well-documented design rules to assist designers in arriving at starting designs.

•In Analysis Mode, TurboTides predicts overall performance of the machine, including performance map generation (ideal or real gas).

• In Data Reduction mode, 1D Meanline can refine meanline modeling parameters to match predicted to measured performance.

• Basic test data (pressure ratio, efficiency, flow rate, and rotational speed) are used to derive loss, deviation, and blockage to generate curves that are applied automatically to modeling parameters.

• The result is a more accurate model of the stage performance so that performance of designs derived from this stage may also be predicted accurately.

• For example, experimental results using air can be used to create a very accurate model that can then predict performance using another gas.

• Maps may be automatically generated using TurboTides CFD. These CFD results can then be used in lieu of test data.
